O&P Task Support for Category 2 IBR Facilities

For Category 2 inverter-based resources (wind, solar, storage), we now support O&P task templates covering applicable standards including IRO, MOD, TOP, VAR, and PRC.

What this means for you:

• Standards are translated into clear, owned tasks

• Tasks are pre-loaded and configurable in our no-code admin console

• Work is tracked continuously, and evidence is generated automatically

FAC and PRC Support Rolling Out in Phases

We're starting by extending our core building blocks to support FAC and PRC standards:

• Task templates mapped to applicable FAC and PRC requirements

• Policy management

• Evidence management and auto-generation

We'll continue to expand FAC and PRC support iteratively and in response to customer feedback, including areas like:

• Interconnection requirements and study coordination

• Facility ratings documentation and change management

IBR Registration Initiative

NERC’s Inverter-Based Resources (IBR) Registration Initiative is nearing completion in May 2026, fulfilling the FERC-directed effort launched in 2023 to bring previously unregistered IBR owners and operators into scope.
