Industry Update ⚡️
NERC reliability standards may be getting an overhaul. More onerous Low Impact standards on their way, and we expect piecemeal revision of standards to encompass Cat 2 IBRs.
In addition, based on early signals and working discussions, the much anticipated CIP Roadmap is likely to place greater emphasis on an objectives-based framework (like NIST). In objectives-based frameworks, evidence is more important than ever in proving those objectives are met.
